At the end of time
The lights burn slow
The prevailing dark
There’s no shadow

A single tear
Ran from my eye
As I watched the sun
Consume my favorite sky

Don’t look for me I’ll find you when
The empty sea is filled again
When chance has allowed the world to end
And what was now becomes what’s been

I met a man once
So very strange
He used his umbrella
To catch the rain

The world in his eyes
Looked much the same
Except for everywhere
The colors changed

The twilight’s mist
Will descend for years
The world can’t stop its turn
I can’t face my fears

I lose my words
When I try to speak
I lost the world I knew
The answers I seek
