Sitting at my table, stare across the room
Thinking will she see me, stay there do not move
If I got the nerve, would she listen to me
What would I say, do I think that she’d agree
So I stay here, did she just look this way
Trying to be suave, or is it called suave
Shit I spilled my beer, I think she noticed that
She sits down by me, my confidence has fallen flat
So I say hey
What’s a guy to do
When his moves aren’t very smooth
And she says hey
Do you think I care
It’s you I want, let’s go somewhere
We begin to talk, she said she loved me
Soon I had to go, I’ve got business you see
I got a number, supposed to call her back
The time I don’t have, when I write then I lose track
I forgot to call, I was too busy
When I finally did, she hung up on me
But when I called her back, she just fell apart
I knew right then, she was in my heart
